Referring to what uncle Will did, knowledge can help us sign contracts and understand contracts when it comes to making an agreement. Like in the story, uncle Will used his knowledge about the contract by reading and understanding what it said, and made a beneficial deal for himself. To get a greater advantage, he ended up making a cheap bargain for himself. Not only does knowledge help us make a good agreement, it helps us find a better career in which we can plan out a successful life because for a sucessful career, we are to have great knowledge about the line we aim for. Therefore I believe that knowledge is very essential.

Knowlegde is really good in this age and time. Knowlegde is really good for you beacause it will always be there with you and you will be always using it. This knowledge will help your future and will get your life started and go threw with it with a good job. In the 1800's then people didn't really care about knowlegde and it wasm't a big think but know a days knowlegde is all you need.

Knowledge in the 1800's was beneficial to people like Robinson because not many people got a chance to learn because they worked all day on the farm and you would not need much education, but know all kids from the age of 4 go to school to get a good education so we could get a good job so we can fend for our self when we get older. For exmaple when uncle Will was signing the contract he closed his eyes and didn't read the paper maybe because he couldn't read very well.

Reading,writing ,doing sums, and etc is all benficial for life because for example: one reason that Robinson (in the book) is very wealthy and is the one that takes care of most peoples property papers only because he could read and write. Sometimes he might even write in the papers that he gets 10% of everything they own, the people will just sign without checking because the people do not know how to read. In todays life knowledge is power because you use your knowledge so much you need it for mostly eveything from reading boards and sign all the way to adding up your grocery list. Like Jeremy, without knowledge he wouldn't have known that uncle Will and Robinson were trying to steal the farm away from him. In the present day, if you didn't have knowledge you would be easily cheated. For example, if you were to go to a grocery store, and didn't know how to count but wanted to buy an item from the grocery store, you may be cheated for your money.

Your reputation states that you organize your time. Another example would be, if you get good grades. Your reputation states that you are studious(smart). Back then, only a few people had education, mostly wealthy families like Robinson and it was very powerful then . This connects to when Robinson and Uncle Will took lead of the Jeremy's mother's will and Uncle Will decided to take it and gave Jeremy a small amount of money. They had knowledge and they knew they could outsmart Jeremy. Nowdays, education is powerful and almost everyone gets it which us a great thing. The law has changed making it necessary for us to have knowledge so when we're grown ups, we will have a successful future and we will have great roles like doctors, lawyers, parents of course, and etc.

Knowledge is powerful because if we are not educated we could not be able to get a good job and not earn good money.Just like in the text, Robinson was educated, had a good job and earned good money. On the other side, there was Jeremy and his mother. Jeremy's mother was not educated, so she did not get a good job and didn't earned good money. What I learned is that knowledge is one of the main important thing in our life. If we are not knowledgable, we would not get a a good career. In these days if people are not educated they won't even have a house because of all the paper work in the bank. This story might be a good lesson for them.
